Firmino nominated for Premier League award
Roberto Firmino has been included on a six-man shortlist in contention to win the Barclays Premier League Player of the Month award for January.
The Liverpool forward is joined by Sergio Aguero, Dele Alli, Jermain Defoe, Kasper Schmeichel and Virgil van Dijk in the running for the accolade.
Firmino started all four Premier League games for the Reds in January, scoring braces against Arsenal and Norwich City.
The winner of the award will be announced on Friday.
