GOTD: Skrtel header starts Brighton rout
Today's Goal of the Day goes back to this date in 2012 when Martin Skrtel grabbed the first of six Liverpool goals against Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup fifth round.
The defender diverted Steven Gerrard's corner into the back of the net with a near-post header after five minutes to set up a 6-1 victory for Kenny Dalglish's side at Anfield..
The Reds would go onto reach final of the competition that year but would eventually fall to Chelsea at Wembley.
