Liverpool have been drawn against Manchester United in the last 16 of the Europa League.

The Reds secured a place in the second knockout stage of the competition by beating Bundesliga outfit Augsburg 1-0 on aggregate, with James Milner scoring the decisive goal at Anfield on Thursday night.

And the reward for Jürgen Klopp’s side is a two-legged tie with their arch-rivals United, who overcame FC Midtjylland in the Round of 32.

The first game will be played at Anfield on Thursday March 10 and kick off at 8.05pm, while the return meeting at Old Trafford is scheduled for Thursday March 17 with kick-off at 6pm subject to change.

As a result, the Barclays Premier League clash with Southampton has been rearranged for 1.30pm on Sunday March 20.
