Nathaniel Clyne and Jordan Henderson provided assists as England came back from 2-0 down to record a stunning 3-2 win over Germany in Berlin on Saturday night.

Trailing 2-0 to goals from Toni Kroos and a header from Mario Gomez, Tottenham's Harry Kane pulled a goal back with a brilliant individual goal.

A surging run from Clyne down the right then led to the equaliser as his equaliser was turned magnificently home by an audacious flick from substitute Jamie Vardy.

Then in stoppage time Liverpool captain Henderson, who went close to scoring himself on two occasions, saw his corner headed home by Eric Dier for the winner.

Clyne and Henderson both played the full game while Adam Lallana featured for the opening 71 minutes, but Daniel Sturridge and James Milner remained on the bench. Emre Can played the full 90 minutes for Germany at right-back.

It was a frustrating night for Jordon Ibe who was sent-off as England U21s drew 1-1 in Switzerland.

Liverpool's No.33 came on as a 27th minute substitute and was given his marching orders in stoppage time for a second bookable offence.
