Allen features in narrow Wales defeat
Liverpool's Joe Allen played 90 minutes for Wales as they suffered a 1-0 friendly defeat to Ukraine in Kiev on Monday evening.
The midfielder impressed as Chris Coleman's men dominated possession and the chances at the Olympic Stadium, though they were ultimately undone by Andriy Yarmolenko's first-half strike.
Reds goalkeeper Danny Ward was again part of the squad, but did not add to the maiden senior cap he earned against Northern Ireland earlier in the week in remaining on the bench.
Having both come through the international break unscathed, Allen and Ward will now return to Melwood to resume training ahead of Liverpool's upcoming clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
