In 1988, Liverpool moved within two points of winning their 17th league crown by beating Nottingham Forest in emphatic fashion.
On a famous night at Anfield, the rampant Reds downed Brian Clough's side 5-0 through goals from Ray Houghton, Gary Gillespie, Peter Beardsley and a brace from John Aldridge.
