No.3: Fowler's rocket v Birmingham in Cardiff
Next up we recall Robbie Fowler's incredible volley in the 2001 League Cup final against Birmingham City in Cardiff.
This was the first trophy for Gerard Houllier's treble winners and it was a truly memorable maiden visit to the Millennium Stadium.
Fowler scored the opening goal with a breathtaking strike. Emile Heskey's knockdown saw the ball sit up nicely and the No.9 fired a spectacular 25-yard effort into the back of the net.
Although Birmingham would run the Reds close, a dramatic penalty shootout proved decisive as Fowler got his hands on the trophy as captain.
