Jürgen Klopp is adamant there will be no thoughts of the Europa League final in his players' minds when they take on Watford at Anfield today.

Writing in his official 'This is Anfield' matchday programme notes ahead of the game, the boss said: “It is absolutely not allowed to think of only the Europa League final between now and the 18th of May.

“Starting today, we have three very important Premier League games and that has to be where our focus is. The line-ups may vary and change in these remaining games, but this isn’t because we think of the final; this is because we need to use our squad and use our players in a responsible way, for the needs of each and every game.

“So today our cup final is Watford here at Anfield. We will treat this with the same importance as any game we have played previously and any game we play subsequently, because it is our next game.

“This is the only attitude that will be allowed at Melwood and in our dressing room.”
