No.8: Walshy on the mark as WBA are put to the sword
Along their way to securing a famous league and cup double in 1985-86 a Paul Walsh inspired Liverpool put West Bromwich Albion to the sword at Anfield.
Things looked bleak when Garth Crooks gave the away side a 38th minute lead but when Steve Nicol levelled on the stroke of half-time the Reds began to take control.
With Walsh a constant menace to the Baggies backline Jan Molby then fired the Reds into a 2-1 lead.
Mark Lawrenson added to the tally and Walsh got a deserved late goal to make it 4-1.
The season of course would end in glory as Kenny Dalglish's side won the league and FA Cup double.
