No.1: The miracle of Istanbul
The best cup final ever undoubtedly has to be the 2005 Champions League decider in Istanbul.
After a first half dominated by AC Milan, the Reds found themselves 3-0 down at the break.
The rest, as they say, is history. From Rafael Benitez in the dressing room to the power of the travelling Kop singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' during the interval (click play to relive that with our free video above) a miracle was about to be lived.
Steven Gerrard's magnificent header gave the Reds hope and, in the space of six minutes, it was 3-3 thanks to Vladimir Smicer and Xabi Alonso.
Jerzy Dudek's incredible save from Andriy Shevchenko was surely a sign that this could be Liverpool's night, and when the Pole in our goal saved the winning penalty from the same player in the shootout, it was time to party!
So good was this night that a feature film was made about this incredible football match. Click here to buy One Night in Istanbul - the movie, now from our online store.
