Four Liverpool players featured as England wrapped up their preparations for Euro 2016 with a 1-0 win over Portugal at Wembley on Thursday evening.

James Milner started for Roy Hodgson's side, while Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge all came from the bench in a match decided by Chris Smalling's late header.

Milner got 66 minutes under his belt before being replaced by Jack Wilshere, while Lallana and Sturridge were called into action with 12 minutes of normal time remaining.

And club captain Henderson was an injury-time replacement for Dele Alli in midfield.

Nathaniel Clyne, meanwhile, remained on the bench as Kyle Walker played the entire 90 minutes at right-back.

With three wins on the spin under their belt, the Three Lions now turn their attentions to the first group game of their Euro 2016 campaign.

England face Russia in Marseille next Saturday.
