2007-08: Aston Villa v Liverpool
Liverpool signalled their intentions for 2007-08 with a memorable 2-1 win over Aston Villa at Villa Park.
An own goal from Martin Laursen gave the Reds the lead but Gareth Barry levelled from the penalty spot with just four minutes remaining.
It looked set to be a frustrating end to the game for Liverpool but, a minute later, they were celebrating thanks to a wonderful free-kick winner from the inspirational Steven Gerrard.
