Joe Allen produced a brilliant performance as he helped Wales claim top spot in Group B at Euro 2016 with a 3-0 victory over Russia on Monday evening.

The Liverpool midfielder laid on the opener for Aaron Ramsey after just 11 minutes as he split the Russian defence with a fantastic through-ball from deep.

And he followed that up by impressing in midfield as Chris Coleman's side added to their lead through Neil Taylor and Gareth Bale to see out a resounding win in Toulouse.

Allen was withdrawn after 74 minutes of a strong outing, the result of which meant the Welsh finished ahead of England in their group. They now must wait to see who they will face in the last 16.

Goalkeeper Danny Ward, who featured in Wales' opening game of the tournament, remained on the bench throughout.
