Allen helps Wales reach Euro 2016 quarter-finals
Joe Allen and Danny Ward's Euro 2016 quest is set to continue after Wales qualified for the quarter-finals with a 1-0 win over Northern Ireland in Paris.
The former played the whole of a tight game at the Parc des Princes, where a 75th-minute Gareth McAuley own goal from Gareth Bale’s cross was the difference.
Ward watched on from the bench as the Welsh maintained their remarkable run at the tournament – which will next involve a clash with Hungary or Belgium.
That tie will take place in Lille next Friday night.
