Next up, we get the views of Liverpool correspondent for Goal.com, Melissa Reddy.

Who’ll win the league?

This question should get easier to answer, but as last season proved, it's becoming increasingly difficult. Both Manchester clubs have fortified their squads considerably and expect to be in the running, while Chelsea will be annoyingly organised opponents with Antonio Conte in charge, and thus tough to beat. Liverpool, under Jürgen Klopp, who has the talent of turning possibility into end product, will force themselves into the debate this season. You then have Tottenham - talented group, smart manager - wanting to improve on the previous campaign, and regardless of how much Arsenal get written off, they always find themselves there and thereabouts. A few players and trainers have said seven or eight clubs have a real shot of being crowned champions this season, and I'm inclined to follow that thinking. I do think the financial heavyweights - United, City and Chelsea - will punch with a lot more force than they did in 2015-16.

What do you think of the new additions to the Liverpool squad?

They may not be blockbuster, but they're brilliant for the football Liverpool want to play. The club have cleverly fixed a few weaknesses in the squad and we've already seen, for example, how Sadio Mane's lightning speed aids the counter-attack. The Senegal international and Gini Wijnaldum increase the quality the Reds have in attack, with both players possessing a desire to get goals. Marko Grujic has the potential to evolve into a phenomenon, while Ragnar Klavan has already settled in so well. Joel Matip will be an asset in the defending of set-pieces, and his passes from the back have been impressive. It's a shame Loris Karius is injured for the start of the season, because he is such an aggressive, front-foot goalkeeper, who was an incredibly astute purchase. Alex Manninger is good cover for both the German and Simon Mignolet, with his experience definitely beneficial to both stoppers.

What are the expectations under Klopp this season?

As per the manager, "the maximum." He wants Liverpool to be the very best version of themselves this season, and the players are determined to fulfil that - there is undoubtedly a desire to work to be part of the title tilt in 2016-17. With only domestic football on the agenda, and more often than not a full week to prepare for fixtures, the team will be more equipped to implement Klopp's 'full-throttle' style. Liverpool will want to be dominant, both on the counter and in possession. They have spent a lot of pre-season working on patient build-up to oust a deep defensive line, but are also well primed to rob the ball off sides looking to hold it, before ravaging them on the break.

Surprise package team?

I can't foresee anyone being as much of a shock as Leicester were last season, but I think Mark Hughes is building a good team at Stoke and if they can add more goals, they should enjoy an improved campaign.

Relegated?

Hull, Burnley, Sunderland.

LFC player to watch?

Divock Origi developed so much last season and his advancement should continue in the season ahead, which will be a treat to observe. Mane in full flight will have plenty off their seats too.

One hope as a reporter this season?

To enjoy the kind of moments logic rules out, but football can provide, like Liverpool's stirring comeback against Borussia Dortmund. Those scenes at the death remind you just what it is that makes this game so captivating. I'd also enjoy another season where the title is not won by a team who has spent considerably, but rather lifted by one which has worked considerably.
