3. Gordon Hodgson – 159 goals
The prolific Gordon Hodgson boasted a total of 241 goals in just 377 appearances for the Reds, with 159 of those strikes being netted at Anfield.
It was back in April 1926 that the South Africa-born frontman struck his maiden effort on Merseyside, bagging in a 2-2 draw with Birmingham City.
Just over nine years on from that afternoon, Hodgson claimed his final Anfield goal, successfully finding the target in a 3-2 win versus Aston Villa in November 1935.
