Roberto Firmino chasing LFC record against Arsenal

The Brazilian has struck in each of the last three fixtures against the Gunners and no Red has ever netted in four successive matches versus the north London club.

Firmino has an excellent overall goalscoring record against Arsenal, too, having netted five times in six games - to match his most prolific return against any side.

And Liverpool have never lost any of the 21 away matches in all competitions in which the No.9 has scored, recording 18 wins and three draws.

Liverpool have won three of the last four meetings with Arsenal and are unbeaten in the last six, winning three and drawing three.  

The Reds have not gone seven games unbeaten home and away against the Gunners since February 2000 when they extended that sequence to 12. 

The Reds have scored seven times in the last two visits having scored as many in back-to-back top-flight trips to Arsenal only twice before (1893-95 and 1927-29). They have never scored more than eight in three successive league visits.

Liverpool have now scored three or more in five successive games against Arsenal, which is a record between the clubs. 

The Reds' biggest Premier League win at Arsenal is a 2-0 victory in August 2011. That is the only occasion in the last 35 years that Liverpool have won this fixture by more than one goal.

Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum made their Liverpool debuts in a 4-3 win at Emirates Stadium two seasons ago, when Mane also scored his first goal for the club.

The Senegal international has scored in three of his last four appearances against Arsenal. His first goal in English football was against the Gunners in Southampton's League Cup win at the Emirates in 2014.

The Reds are unbeaten in their last 11 league games including the final match of last season, while they have lost only three of the last 39 in the top flight.

Having already won at Tottenham Hotspur this season, the Reds could record victories at both north London clubs in the same league campaign for the first time since 1996-97.

A win will see Liverpool record their best start to a Premier League season after 11 games. They currently have 26 points from 10 matches and picked up 27 points from their opening 11 matches of the 2002-03 campaign.

This season Liverpool have won four and drawn one of five away league games, taking 13 points. Only Tottenham, with 15, have taken more.  

The Gunners go into this game on the back of a 13-game unbeaten run in all competitions, winning 12 and drawing the other.  

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored on his last appearance against Klopp's men, for Borussia Dortmund in a 4-3 Anfield defeat in the Europa League in 2016 - his one goal in four games against the Reds.

He has scored 17 times in his 23 Premier League appearances for the Gunners.

This season, Arsenal have yet to lead at half-time of any league game despite having won seven of their 10 fixtures.
