Now a blue but always a Red
Emile Heskey would be the first to admit he never won over all of the Liverpool fans at the club he grew up cheering on but his gesture of support for the Hillsborough cause was a credit to a striker who'll always be a Red at heart.
The boyhood Liverpool fan swapped Anfield for St Andrews last summer but on the eve of his return to Merseyside at the weekend, it's only right that we acknowledge the fact that he's made a point of wearing the Hillsborough wristband on more than one occasion this season.
Emile Heskey, for supporting the fight for justice for the 96 so openly this season, we salute you.
(And if you score the winner against Everton at the weekend, we may even forgive you for that slip in front of goal in the last minute against Manchester United last season!)
