Jürgen Klopp hopes Roberto Firmino will be available for Sunday's Merseyside derby.

The No.9 was forced to sit out Liverpool's 4-0 victory over Manchester United on Tuesday evening due to a foot injury.

Offering an update on the Brazilian after the game, Klopp told Sky Sports: "Bobby was not involved because in the very last situation of the City game he got something on his foot. It's not really bad."

On whether Firmino will be fit for Everton's visit to Anfield in the Premier League, the Reds boss added: "We hope so.

"Actually, we were a bit worried but the scan was fine. But it's still very painful and that's why there was no chance [against Man United]."
