Carra hails fast start
Jamie Carragher paid tribute to Liverpool's devastating start as they recorded a commanding 5-2 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage to bolster their European hopes.
A brace from Maxi Rodriguez and a Dirk Kuyt strike put the Reds into a three-goal lead inside the opening 16 minutes in London.
Moussa Dembele gave Fulham brief hope after the break, but Maxi completed his hat-trick and Luis Suarez got the goal he deserved before Steve Sidwell bagged a late consolation.
The result moves Liverpool back into fifth place in the Barclays Premier League, two points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur and just four behind Manchester City.

Carragher said: "We played very well. We got the early goals but I think the first 45 (minutes) was not the real Fulham.
"In the second half when they got the ball, I thought we started to get a little bit nervous ourselves but once Maxi scored (the fourth goal) I think the game was finished then.
"We've been playing well of late, confidence is good, we're looking forward to games and we wanted to start well. It doesn't always happen like that - I'm sure Fulham wanted to start well - it was just one of those days for us.
"When you win everything is enjoyable, and we're going in every day now with a smile on our face and looking forward to games. Confidence is high and we want to keep this run going."
It was a landmark occasion for Carragher as he made his 666th game for Liverpool, taking him outright second in the club's all-time appearance makers list.
However, the 33-year-old was typically modest when asked about the milestone.

"It's a nice achievement for myself - and it's even better because we won," said Carragher.
"You could hear the supporters after the game, they're going home happy. We've got to look forward to Tottenham now and hopefully keep this going."
On whether he could emulate Manchester United's Ryan Giggs and continue playing at the top level for at least further five years, Carragher added: "No, I certainly don't think I will do what he has - he is a one off. He's a great player and a great lad. I just want to keep playing as long as I can and do my best for Liverpool."
Liverpool have been in sensational form in recent weeks and Carragher was quizzed on whether the Reds can take that momentum into 2011-12 and challenge for honours.
He replied: "I've been here a long time and get that question every year. As I said, I just want to enjoy the moment. We're playing well and winning.
"Next season is a fresh, clean slate for everyone and we start again.
"Hopefully we can take this form and confidence into next season, but I don't think anyone at Liverpool will start making silly boasts or put expectations on ourselves.
"We just want to keep winning and enjoying our football."
