Last call for budding stars
Football-mad girls have one day left to submit applications for Liverpool Ladies FC Centre of Excellence trials.
The deadline for applications to the Liverpool Girls Centre of Excellence, one of only 30 centres throughout the UK with a prestigious FA Licence, is today.
Girls aged 17 and under are invited to take part in sessions with centre staff, with trials beginning on Monday 13 June at St Edmunds Arrowsmith Centre for Learning in Whiston.
Kevin Quigley, Liverpool Girls Centre of Excellence centre director, said: "There are so many talented young female footballers in the region and we're pleased to be able to offer them specialised coaching so that they can maximise their talent and realise their ambitions.
"We're hoping as many girls come to the trials as possible, and who knows, they might one day turn out for Liverpool Ladies themselves."
