Club ambassador McAllister to join Ladies on South Africa tour
Liverpool Ladies FC can today confirm that Kop legend Gary McAllister will be joining the squad on the tour of South Africa for the Discovery and Liverpool Ladies Tour 2016.
The ex-Liverpool midfielder will join Scott Rogers’ side on their pre-season tour as a club ambassador and will be visiting various events in the local community in Johannesburg.
On travelling to South Africa, McAllister said: “I am delighted to be joining Liverpool Ladies FC on their first ever pre-season tour in South Africa. I have met a few of the players before at club events and I am really looking forward to visiting such a wonderful country alongside the team.
“I am also really excited to see the new look team in action ahead of the 2016 season, as I know that Scott has brought in a number of exciting, new signings."
