Liverpool Ladies and England goalkeeper Siobhan Chamberlain joined a special panel at the Women In Football event at Anfield on Wednesday.

The Reds star joined guests including Liverpool FC’s director of communications, Susan Black, on the panel for the evening – hosted by BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Caroline Barker.

Chamberlain, who joined Liverpool from Arsenal Ladies in December, was delighted to be invited onto the specially formed panel in the Eights Lounge in the Centenary Stand.

She said: “It’s a real honour to have been invited to this evening’s event alongside so many other inspirational and successful women in football.

“I think this event highlights the growing success of Ladies football and hopefully I may be able to inspire any young girls to take up football.

“This event has really inspired me personally and motivated me to strive to achieve even more in my career.”
