Liverpool Ladies duo Shannon Beckwith and Mollie Green attended an LFC Foundation event alongside Bromborough & Eastham FC this week for the Premier League Girls Programme.

40 girls attended the coaching session at South Wirral High School as the Reds pair joined in with the skills drills and passed on their expertise to the youngsters participating.

Beckwith and Green then shared stories of their journey into professional football and gave advice based on their career experiences so far.

The aim of the session was to help the girls improve their football skills as well as offer progression into competitive football with the help of the Ladies pair.

Green said: “It is great to see so many girls playing football at such a young age and hopefully they continue to play football on a weekly basis.

“The questions that the girls asked were also really interesting, which shows how keen many of the girls are to follow in our footsteps to become professional footballers.”
