Neighbours star makes special visit to Ladies training session
Liverpool Ladies welcomed special guests to training last week as Reds fan and Neighbours star Alan Fletcher visited the Select Security Stadium.
As part of a new documentary, Fletcher was joined by Ladies supporter Marcus Keam, who was offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train with the team.
After participating in the session, Marcus was introduced to the players before taking part in a penalty shootout against Reds goalkeeper Danielle Gibbons.
Fletcher said: “It was a real privilege to be able to visit the stadium to watch the girls train as they prepared for the new WSL season.
“This was a brilliant day for Marcus, who was able to meet some of his heroes and take part in the training session.
“I would like to thank Liverpool Ladies FC and Scott [Rogers] for allowing Marcus to live a lifelong dream and take part in the session.”
