Glory for Van De Sanden as Netherlands win Euro 2017
Liverpool Ladies winger Shanice Van De Sanden is celebrating after playing a major part in securing UEFA Women's European Championship glory for the Netherlands on Sunday.
In a thrilling final, the host nation came back from 1-0 down to secure a 4-2 victory over Denmark.
Van De Sanden continued her impressive tournament form with another storming display, and she also provided an assist.
Speaking shortly after the final whistle, the Liverpool Ladies No.11 said: "I'm so emotional and I'm so proud of all my girls, the staff and the whole squad.
"This is amazing. Just listen to our supporters, brilliant!
"I think this is the biggest thing that can happen for women's football but now we will enjoy it."
