Report: Liverpool Ladies reach quarter-finals of FA Cup
Liverpool Ladies progressed to the quarter-finals of the Women's FA Cup with a 3-0 win at Chichester City Ladies on Sunday afternoon.
Bethany England was on the mark along with Ashley Hodson, and Rinsola Babajide, whose goal marked her first start for the club.
Having suffered successive defeats to Arsenal and Manchester City in the Women’s Super League, a return to winning ways was more than welcome for Scott Rogers’ charges.
After making the long trip to west Sussex, Rogers decided to freshen up his side, handing debuts to goalkeeper Emily Ramsey and defender Naomi Hartley.
After a lively start in which both sides created decent opportunities, Liverpool Ladies took the lead on 34 minutes when Babajide pounced following a superb pass from Caroline Weir.
Hodson made it 2-0 six minutes before the break when she slotted home from close range.

And just two minutes after the restart, England made it 3-0 after Weir’s initial effort was saved.
Liverpool Ladies might have added more goals before the end with Kate Longhurst twice just off target and Ali Johnson unlucky to see her free-kick sail over the bar.
