Liverpool Ladies are hoping to bounce back from FA Cup disappointment when they take on Birmingham City Ladies at Solihull Moors FC on Sunday afternoon.

Scott Rogers' charges, who suffered a cup defeat to Chelsea last time out, turn their attentions to the Women's Super League once more as they face one of their closest rivals in the division.

The Reds sit five points ahead of Birmingham in fourth place, and trail third-place Arsenal by just two ahead of today's fixture.

View from the manager, Scott Rogers

"It was frustrating for us against Chelsea last weekend but we were down the bare bones with players unavailable and the girls worked so hard and gave it their best. We were punished for our own mistakes and we had one or two chances that we didn't take, but that's football.

"Sunday gives us a chance to bounce back against Birmingham City Ladies. Hopefully we will have one or two players back and we will be ready to go against a very tough Birmingham side."
