Garcia and Gary Mac visit Singapore's Gardens by the Bay
Liverpool FC legends Luis Garcia and Gary McAllister were today treated to an exclusive tour of Singapore’s famous Gardens by the Bay.
The former Reds duo, who are in Singapore to take part in the LFC World roadshow presented by Standard Chartered Bank, visited the Gardens’ iconic Flower Dome – the world’s largest glass greenhouse – and took in the spectacular Cloud Forest veiled in mist.
The Gardens, which have had over 25 million visitors since opening in 2012, cover 250 acres of land in the heart of central Singapore and continue to capture the imagination of people with a unique blend of nature, architecture and technology.
Luis Garcia said: “It’s incredible to be in Singapore for LFC World, we’re really looking forward to meeting all our fans here. It’s always good to enjoy the local culture while we are here and the Gardens by the Bay is an incredible place, it’s easy to understand why it’s had so many visitors.”
LFC World is at the Suntec City Mall until Sunday November 6 and is an immersive fan experience with a mini museum, interactive games such as Robokeeper - the fastest electronic 'keeper in the world - games stations from Konami and a replica press conference area. Legends Ian Rush, Gary McAllister and Luis Garcia will be on-hand until November 6 to meet with fans and sign autographs.
