LFC World in Singapore: Day two
Liverpool legends Luis Garcia, Gary McAllister and Ian Rush are over in Singapore for the first leg of LFC World, and you can keep up to date with their trip thanks to our daily diary from club journalist David Lynch.
The roadshow, organised in association with Standard Chartered, brings former stars, trophies, soccer schools and an immersive Anfield experience to fans who support the Reds passionately from afar.
Track every step of the journey with our blog, the second instalment of which can be found below...
8.30am
A somewhat jet-lagged LFC team awakes for day two in Singapore and it's time for breakfast.
Luis Garcia eats his morning meal while charming two competition winners, who are clearly delighted to meet and speak with the former Reds forward.
I watch on from another table, green with envy.
10am
Next up for LFCTV, it's interviews with the three legends who have made the trip out to Asia.
Claire Rourke speaks with Luis, while I take care of McAllister and Rush - both of whom are in great form despite having only just landed in Singapore after a sleepless flight.
You can, of course, read the thoughts of all three on Liverpoolfc.com in the coming days.
Claire chats with Luis about LFC World and the Reds' in-form first team
12.30pm
With their LFCTV commitments fulfilled, it's time for the legends to get their first taste of the LFC World base.
The visit is a complete success, though I'm still struggling to shake the memory of the one local I witnessed using our Konami Pro Evolution Soccer booth to dole out a 3-0 drubbing to LFC with... Manchester United. The bare-faced cheek of it!

You can also watch Rush effortlessly beating the lightning-fast reflexes of Robokeeper with his first attempt over on our official Twitter page.
The media scrum as the legends arrive
3pm
While Robokeeper's conqueror heads off for an interview with a Singaporean radio station, his two fellow legends are whisked off to the Gardens by the Bay nature park.
Judging by the pictures, Luis and Gary enjoyed themselves!
5pm
Throughout the day, LFC coaches have been delivering the first soccer school sessions of our visit over at Home Youth Football Academy.
Myself and LFCTV's indefatigable camera operator Myles Fitzpatrick head down to find the local children relishing their education in the Liverpool Way, and the chance to meet Mighty Red.
Watching the coaches up close really drives home just how hard they work to make the sessions fun for everyone, as well as beneficial in sporting terms. They really are a credit to the club.
8pm
The legends make the short trip to the Fullerton Hotel for a Standard Chartered dinner event featuring a Q&A session hosted by Claire.
It's been a long, long day for all three of our former Reds stars but they remain as enthusiastic as the night draws to a close, showing stamina Jürgen Klopp would be proud of.
Of course, they've got it all to do again tomorrow, with an early start on the cards courtesy of a morning golf event.
Stay tuned to Liverpoolfc.com for coverage of everything the legends and our LFC team get up to on day three of our trip!
