ClubCall: Burnley consider offers
Burnley are weighing up offers for Danny Ings with Liverpool proposing a deal that would see him loaned back to the club until June.
Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers wants Ings in his squad next season and is willing to loan the 22-year-old back to Sean Dyche's men for the rest of the current campaign in order to win the race for his signature.
Ings is in the final six months of his contract at Turf Moor and has also attracted interest from Tottenham and Real Sociedad.
Dyche wants to keep the Clarets' top scorer until the end of the season and the loan-back deal does appear attractive to the club.
And it may not cost Liverpool much more to secure the transfer now instead of waiting until the end of the season because Burnley would be due training compensation for Ings - who will still be under the age of 24.
The ex-Bournemouth striker arrived at Turf Moor in August 2011 for a fee of around £1million.
He has scored seven Premier League goals this season, having struck 21 times in the Championship last term as Burnley won promotion by finishing as runners-up to Leicester.
