Metro: Reds eye France striker

Liverpool are planning to strengthen their strike force with a £10million raid on Sevilla for Kevin Gameiro.

Summer signing Divock Origi, who is currently on loan at Lille, will report to Anfield in the summer but the Express are reporting that Liverpool are also in the hunt for Gameiro.

The 27-year-old is expected to be sold by the Spanish club at the end of the season and Rodgers believes he has the raw attributes to be a success in the Premeir League.

The player came close to joining Liverpool in 2013 after his transfer listing by PSG, but instead opted for a move to La Liga.
