Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic is waiting until the end of the season before deciding on a move to Liverpool.

The Reds are looking to fill the void that Steven Gerrard will leave when he departs for LA Galaxy at the end of the season, and manager Brendan Rodgers has been linked with a swoop for Pjanic of late.

A recent report claimed that the five-time European Cup winners were lining up a £25m move for the Bosnian international, although it is believed that the Serie A side are holding out for closer to £37m.

However, the Express have reported that Pjanic is unsure about a transfer to Anfield, due to the uncertainty about the Reds' Champions League status for next season.

Pjanic has reportedly been offered a deal in the region of £160,000 a week by Liverpool, but the 24-year-old former Lyon midfielder could reject a move unless the Reds finish inside the top four.

Rodgers's side have seen an upturn in results since Christmas, but last season's runners-up are currently four points behind Southampton who hold the final spot in fourth.
