Clyne reveals idol, England teammates' traits
Nathaniel Clyne is used to repelling wingers, who run in his direction at high speed, so it's no surprise he can handle a rapid-fire question-and-answer session.
Clyne recently took five questions from Tubes, a personality on Sky Sports’ popular show “Soccer AM,” and video of the interview emerged on Sky Sports and other outlets Thursday. Clyne, 24, revealed his soccer hero, the toughest winger he ever has faced and dished some information about his teammates on England’s national team during the brief interview.
Clyne is embarking on a new chapter in his career, following his £12.5 million ($19.4 million) transfer from Southampton to Liverpool in July. Clyne is expected to feature heavily at right back for Liverpool. If he plays well this season, he most likely will represent England next summer at the 2016 UEFA European Championship in France.
Games and opponents will come at Clyne thick and fast from all directions, but he seems ready for the challenge.
