Reds to pay winger release clause
Liverpool are ready to pay Andriy Yarmolenko's £14.5m release clause, according to reports in Italy.
The Ukraine international has attracted interest from Everton, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund during the transfer window.
While Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reportedly called Yarmolenko in an attempt to persuade him to come to the Emirates.
But the 25-year-old told the Frenchman: "I am very grateful but my dream is to play for Barca."
And Liverpool have now emerged as contenders according to Italian website Tuttomercatoweb.
They say Brendan Rodgers has a strong interest in the Dynamo Kiev winger and is willing to pay his £14.5million (€20m) clause.
The Premier League transfer window closes at 6pm on Tuesday.
