Howedes to consider Liverpool move
Benedikt Howedes could be on his way to Anfield after admitting his admiration for the Premier League.
The Schalke defender has been one of the names touted as a potential Jurgen Klopp singing after reportedly turning down the chance to sign for Arsenal during the summer.
Although he admits that he is focused on bringing success to Gelsenkirchen right now, he could move for Klopp.
“I am still keen on going abroad and playing in England is definitely a flattering option in this respect,” Howedes told Bild .
“Still I am with Schalke and I have a job to do at this club. I am not looking at any other thing actually.
“But, of course, some clubs are somehow more of interest from the point of view of a footballer than other clubs might be.”
Andriy Yamolenko has revealed that he would consider a move to the Premier League, report the Daily Express.
The Ukrainian has been linked with a switch to England over the past couple of years, with Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham all reportedly showing an interest.
But now aged 25, the Dynamo Kiev man is interested in making the move in the near future.
He said: "I still want to try my hand at some of the top championships as part of one of the strongest European clubs."
