Reds among clubs monitoring Mor
Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are among clubs monitoring the progress of the Denmark Under-19s striker Emre Mor who is expected to leave Nordsjaelland in January.
Mor, who was schooled in the junior ranks at Lyngby BK, joined the academy at Nordsjaelland in January but signed only a part-time contract meaning he is effectively available for a cut-price compensation fee. The 18-year-old has impressed in the youth team, establishing himself as one of the most sought-after talents in Europe with Ajax and Borussia Dortmund having also tracked his development.
Scouts from across Europe, and the Premier League elite in particular, have been in contact with the player’s representatives, FTC, and will be in attendance in Malta this week as Mor plays for Denmark in the European Under-19s qualifying round. They play Iceland in Paola tomorrow, then Malta and Israel before the weekend. The striker already has two goals from as many caps at that level having also played for the under-17s and 18s.
