Reds eye swoop for German star
Liverpool are preparing a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan, according to reports in Italy.
The Reds will compete with Juventus and Barcelona to land the German midfielder and they can seal his services for roughly £17.6million.
Dortmund are likely to accept any offer in that region as he enters the final year of his contract.
And while Juventus and Barcelona may struggle to raise the funds, the new Premier League TV deal means that it would be more than affordable for the Reds, according to Tuttosport.
Gundogan played under Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp during his spell at Dortmund.
And it’s thought that both player and manager would be keen on a reunion.
