Trio offered chance to seal Brazil star deal
Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham could battle for Corinthians forward Alexandre Pato in the January transfer window after the Premier League rivals were reportedly offered the chance to sign the striker for just £11million.
The Brazilian forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the transfer window, with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool said to be close to agreeing a deal for the ex-AC Milan striker.
However, Spurs have entered the race to sign the 26-year-old in recent weeks with Mauricio Pochettino concerned by the Lilywhites’ over-reliance on star striker Harry Kane.
And, according to the Evening Standard, the trio have been offered the chance to sign the forward for just £11m this January.
Though the forward’s failed to hit the heights that many felt he would during his career, Pato’s still just 26 and £11m would represent a bargain fee for such an experienced player that is yet to reach his peak.
