Marko Grujic has confirmed he will be unveiled as a Liverpool player on Monday.

The former Red Star Belgrade player is understood to have agreed a £5million move to Anfield pending a medical and work permit being issued.

And according to the 19-year-old, all seems to have gone ahead smoothly, with him confirming on Facebook he would be unveiled next week.

"On Monday 4 January [I] will become a new player of Liverpool," he posted.

Serbian publication Danas revealed this week he had been granted a British visa and would travel to Merseyside in the New Year to complete the deal.

Under the terms of the deal, the Reds will immediately loan back Grujic to the SuperLiga leaders for the rest of the season.

He has scored five times in 21 appearances this season for Red Star, who are 25 points clear at the top of the table.
