Klopp planning move for World Cup winner
Jurgen Klopp is reportedly lining up an audacious move to bring Bayern Munich ace Mario Gotze to Liverpool.
The Germany international played under Klopp during his time at Dortmund and the 48-year-old was devastated when details of the attacking midfielder’s move to rivals Bayern broke out just days before the 2013 Champions League final.
However, the 23-year-old has seen his progress stall at the Allianz Arena and it’s unclear how he’ll fare under incoming boss Carlo Ancelotti.
And, according to Bild, Klopp’s targeting a summer move for the World Cup winner in the knowledge that he’d have just 12 months to run on his deal with Bayern by that stage.
