Reds hoping to land Serbian wonderkid
Liverpool are reportedly hoping to sign Serbian wonderkid Andrija Zivkovic on a cut-price deal this month ahead of rivals Chelsea and Arsenal.
The Partizan Belgrade winger has been watched by a host of top clubs after gaining a reputation as one of Europe’s brightest young talents.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal have looked at the winger in the past, with the Gunners the more interested of the two parties.
The 19-year-old is already a full Serbian international but he is out of contract with Belgrade this summer meaning he’s free to agree a pre-contract agreement with suitors this month.
The Serbian club are reluctant to miss out on a fee for the winger and French daily L’Equipe says Liverpool are hoping to agree a cut-price £3.8million deal for the teenager.
