Liverpool close to agreeing Alex Teixeira deal
Liverpool are close to agreeing a deal to sign Alex Teixeira from Shakhtar Donetsk, according to reports.
The Reds have been strongly linked with the Brazilian attacker in recent days and have already made a £24.5million bid.
That was rejected, but ESPN Brasil says talks have been ongoing and Liverpool are now closing in on getting their man.
They say the negotiations have been going well and the player and should be concluded very soon.
Shakhtar are hoping to earn £38m from the transfer.
