Reds planning trio of moves for summer
Liverpool want to sign Udinese's Piotr Zielinski in the summer.
The 21-year-old is on loan at Empoli and valued at around £12million. He has two goals and five assists in 20 Serie A appearances this season and can play across midfield and behind the striker.
The Poland international was monitored by Manchester City as a teenager and Liverpool considered a bid this window.
However, they have now shelved plans until the summer as well as prospective deals for defender Joel Matip at Schalke and Leicester City left back Ben Chilwell, despite talk of moves this month.
