Liverpool to make deadline loan move for Real Madrid star
Liverpool are ready to launch a new bid for Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev.
The Merseyside club are one of the Russian’s possible destinations as he looks to leave the Bernabeu in search of first-team football.
Cheryshev, rated at around £7million, wants regular football ahead of Euro 2016 and, after not making a single matchday squad under Zinedine Zidane, will be allowed to leave on loan.
Liverpool’s main transfer target is attacking midfielder Alex Texeira but, although the Brazilian is keen on a move to Anfield but his club, Shakhtar Donetsk, are unwilling to let him go for much less than their £53million release clause.
The Reds have had two bids rejected for the Brazilian international and the Ukrainian side insist the attacking midfielder won’t leave for anything less than his £53million release clause.
Liverpool are unwilling to raise their bid much further than £30m but they know that the 26-year-old wants to move to Anfield so have not yet given up hope of landing him.
