Granit Xhaka 'dreams' of PL move
Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka says it would be his 'dream' to play in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old joined Gladbach from Basel in 2012 and is under contract with the Bundesliga side until 2019.
But there have been reports that Liverpool are interested in securing his services, with German newspaper Bild even claiming Jurgen Klopp has met with Xhaka's agent.
Speaking to Sky Sports in Germany, Xhaka, who was once dubbed the 'young Bastian Schweinsteiger' by former Bayern Munich head coach Ottmar Hitzfeld, did little to quash speculation that he could move to the Premier League.
"I think everybody has a dream," he said. "Everybody has a childhood dream and that's my childhood dream. If my dream comes true, it remains to be seen. At the moment I cannot say how realistic it is."
Former Borussia Dortmund head coach Klopp has already made one signing from the Bundesliga, with Joel Matip set to arrive from Schalke at the end of the season.
