Liverpool and Inter Milan are set to face-off in a bidding war for Bayer Leverkusen winger Karim Bellarabi this summer.

The two clubs have regularly scouted the Germany international - who holds the record for the fastest goal scored in Bundesliga history - this season, with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp keen on recruiting his compatriot.

However, Inter are set to make wholesale changes to their midfield in the summer and Bellarabi is at the top of Roberto Mancini's wish-list.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Inter and Liverpool are leading the chase for the 25-year-old and both clubs have made initial contact with Leverkusen about his availability this summer.
