Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United are in a three-way tussle to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, talkSPORT understands.

The Ox, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury suffered against Barcelona last month, has become increasingly frustrated with his lack of game time at the Emirates and is open to a move away from North London to kickstart his career.

Incoming City boss Pep Guardiola has kept tabs on the 22-year-old since his starring role in the Gunners' 1-1 Champions League draw against Bayern Munich in 2014.

Manchester United tried to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain from Southampton before he opted to join Arsenal in 2011 for £15m and it is the understood club are keen again, although uncertainty around the future of current boss Louis van Gaal could scupper a possible summer switch to Old Trafford.

North West rivals Liverpool are also keen on the England star.

The former Southampton academy product has started nine Barclays Premier League games this season for Arsenal, scoring just one goal.

Oxlade-Chamberlain's main priority will be to recover from injury and force his way into Roy Hodgson's Euro 2016 squad this summer.
