Liverpool battle for Lorient defender
Liverpool will rival Arsenal for Lorient left-back Raphael Guerreiro.
Both clubs want to strengthen the left side of their defence in the summer with Arsenal ready to allow Keiran Gibbs to leave.
Leicester City's Ben Chilwell remains one of the names on their lists but Guerreiro has greater experience and is expected to start at left-back for Portugal at the European Championships in France.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has monitored Guerreiro since he was coach at Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal scout Gilles Grimandi has followed his progress over the last two seasons.
Born in France to a French mother and Portuguese father, Guerreiro scored his first goal for Portugal in their 1-0 friendly win over Argentina at Old Trafford in 2014.
Lorient value the 22-year-old highly and would not let him leave for less than £10million.
Leicester, meanwhile, have yet to agree terms on a new contract for England U21 international Chilwell.
