Liverpool target speaks out on future plans
Mario Gotze has kept his cards quite close to chest over where he could end up in the summer.
The 23-year-old has seen his career at Bayern Munich stall which has been down to a combination of injuries and falling out of favour with Pep Guardiola.
Express Sport understands Gotze could reunite with former manager Jurgen Klopp at the end of the season.
It is thought a fee of £20million could be enough to land the midfielder’s signature.
Despite the ongoing speculation about his future, Gotze remains coy over his plans.
“For me it is important to play because that is when I am happy,” Gotze said.
“Everything else will come by itself and there’s no need to talk about that.”
Gotze’s Bayern contract runs up next summer.
